What is aerial?

Aerial is a movement-based practice involving the use of fabric referred to as an aerial silk or hammock. In my aerial classes, we use a single fabric hammock suspended from the ceiling to support the body for stretching, balance work, flowing sequences, and somatic movement. It is a wonderful tool practiced for a wide variety of wellness goals: mindfulness, play therapy, strength-building, flexibility, balance, intuitive movement, improving the mind-body connection, building confidence, and so much more.

Mindful Aerial Movement

Sundays, 6pm

This yoga-inspired aerial series changes our movements with the moon, playing with restorative, floor-height poses during the New & Waning Moon and active, hip-height poses during the Full & Waxing Moon. We practice breathwork, mindfulness, and intuitive movement.

Soft & Slow

Wednesdays, 7:30pm

This yoga-inspired aerial series focuses on longer held, restorative postures and stretches, supported by the low aerial hammock, inviting the body to soften & release tension. Make space and time for the body to settle into deep rest. Soothe the mind and body in this slow paced, meditative class.
